This Peaberry coffee from Kilimanjaro is sourced from a  cluster of farmers from one of the oldest and largest groups in Tanzania, dating back to 1899. With over 500 people working year-round to maintain and care for the farms and an additional 1500 workers during the harvest season. The group shares two wet mills, which allows them to fully control the quality of their coffees. A Peaberry cherry is made of one fertilised seed, forming an oval pea-shaped bean. A traditional cherry contains two seeds, developing with flattened facing sides.
