Our Decaf Coffee

Who says coffee can’t be delicious – and caffeine-free? Let’s aim higher! For all the pregnant mums out there; the caffeine-sensitive; the after-dinner coffee drinkers – we’ve got you! We roast our decaf coffee fresh to order to ensure that you’re receiving the most full-tasting decaf experience you can get. We source beans that have been decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, allowing caffeine to be removed from the bean by gently soaking it in a water solution. The caffeine is absorbed in the water, chemical free, and is filtered until virtually all (99.9%) of the caffeine is removed from the bean. We believe that this is the superior decaffeinating process because nasties aren’t used to decaffeinate the bean and strip the taste. The beans are then dried and roasted by our environmentally innovative, patented roasting process here at Sprocket to deliver you a cup that doesn’t cost the earth – or keep you up all night! It’s a win-win situation.

Sweet Wonderful Dreams

Everybody's looking for something; travel the seven skies no more if decaf is your thing. Nutty malt with just enough brown sugar to leave you dreaming sweet. A full body brew with a clean, refined finish. Cupping without consequence.

Brew Guide

The grinder you use, coffee you choose, and yes, even the water from your sink, can alter the taste in the cup. Every machine is different, so you'll want to think of these parameters more as guidelines than law.

Imagine a world where biowaste is turned into energy to fuel your coffee fix - at Sprocket Roasters, that's what we do!

Creating a roaster that is fuelled on bioenergy is a world first in the coffee roasting industry, and is something we are very proud of here at Sprocket. This advancement in roasting technology means end of life products like spent coffee grinds, along with a wide range of other organic material that usually ends up in landfill, are turned into fuel to power the roaster. Coffee magic?! Most certainly ... coupled with sound engineering and a whole lot of TLC in every small batch we roast.
